The Ramona Collection offers a personal glimpse into early life in southern California.

A cribbage board carved by a San Quentin inmate, spurs from the Vejar Rancho, petrified lightening, a piece of a mammoth tooth, a hat from one of Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders, Pio Pico's opera glasses and a Mexican badge collection from Sheriff Eugene Biscailuz are just a few of the many unique items that can be found in the Ramona Collection. The items were gathered together by the members of Ramona Parlor from where they lived, worked and played in southern California. Many of Ramona's first members were decendents of some of the earliest California families. Their keepsakes are safeguarded for future generations in our Museum where they may be viewed and enjoyed freely by all.
